Upgrade MQTT Gateway

The following instructions are to be followed to upgrade MQTT gateways to work with the myDevices Network Server.

Latest Versions: 10/15/2026

  • Gateway Bridge: 3.14.7
  • DPS Client: 1.5.0

Tektelic​

# Download & Install the latest version of the gateway bridge
opkg install https://artifacts.mydevices.com/hwdassets/chirpstack-gateway-bridge_3.14.7-r1_kona.ipk
# Install dps-client
opkg install https://artifacts.mydevices.com/hwdassets/dps-client_1.5.0-r0_kona.ipk

MultiTech MTCAP​

Make sure to run these commands with sudo. 

# Download & Install the latest version of the gateway bridge
opkg install https://artifacts.mydevices.com/hwdassets/chirpstack-gateway-bridge_3.14.7-r1_arm926ejste.ipk
# Install dps-client
opkg install https://artifacts.mydevices.com/hwdassets/dps-client_1.5.0-r0_arm926ejste.ipk
info

If the above returns an SSL error, the CA certificates on the gateway must be updated. Run the following command with sudo to update:

update-ca-certificates

MultiTech MTCAP3​

Note: The new Multitech MTCAP3 gateway uses ARMv7 and requires a different package of the chirpstack-gateway-bridge and dps-client. 

opkg install https://artifacts.mydevices.com/hwdassets/chirpstack-gateway-bridge_3.14.7-r1_mtcap3.ipk

opkg install https://artifacts.mydevices.com/hwdassets/dps-client_1.5.0-r0_mtcap3.ipk

Browan/Gemtek​

Chirpstack gateway bridge and dps-client are packaged together.

latest: dps-client: 1.5.0

# Download the latest version of the gateway bridge
wget --no-check-certificate https://artifacts.mydevices.com/hwdassets/gateway-bridge-dps_1.5.0-r0_ramips_24kec.ipk
# install package
opkg install gateway-bridge-dps_1.5.0-r0_ramips_24kec.ipk
